Typical workflows

The everyday paths through Taskwich — starting a workspace, getting work in, and moving it forward.

Starting a workspace

Onboarding is three steps, and the last two are skippable: name the workspace (with an optional logo), create a first project, then pick a status template — engineering, marketing, or simple — or keep the default. You land in a working project either way.

Creating tasks

Four ways in, pick whichever fits the moment:

  • Quick create — a popover, title only, for when you just need it captured.
  • Full create — a dialog with project, status, priority, assignee, labels, milestone, due date, and description.
  • Command palette — from anywhere in the app.
  • Mind Dump — paste unstructured notes and Taskwich proposes titled tasks, each routed to a likely project with a suggested priority. Review, edit, or drop any of them, then create the batch in one action.

Moving work forward

Drag a task between columns on the Board view to change its status, or between dates on the Calendar view to reschedule it. Every status belongs to one of three categories — not started, started, or completed — so progress is comparable across differently-named workflows. Select multiple tasks to bulk-edit status, priority, assignee, labels, milestone, or due date together.

Inviting people

One invite flow covers both kinds of access: a full member consumes a paid seat and gets a workspace role, with project access as an optional extra step; a guest is free but must be named onto at least one project. Invites can be sent in a batch — each succeeds or fails on its own — and re-inviting someone replaces their pending invitation rather than duplicating it.
