Delete your Taskwich account

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This page explains how to delete a Taskwich account, what happens to your data, and how to ask us to do it if you cannot open the app. Taskwich is operated by Vyxos s.r.o. and works the same on the web and in the Android app.

Delete it yourself

  1. Sign in to Taskwich on the web or in the Android app.
  2. Open Account, then Your data.
  3. Choose Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.

You are signed out everywhere and your account is scheduled for deletion. Signing out or leaving the app does not delete anything — only this request does.

If you own a workspace that other people are members of, you cannot delete your account until you transfer ownership of that workspace to someone else. The app shows you which workspaces are in the way.

The 30-day grace period

Deletion does not happen immediately. For 30 days your account is held and you can cancel the request: sign back in, open Account, Your data, and choose Cancel deletion. API keys are revoked when you submit the request and are not restored by cancelling; create new ones afterwards. When the 30 days end, the deletion runs automatically and cannot be undone.

Can't sign in? Ask us

Email [email protected] from the address registered on the account and say you want it deleted. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We answer within one month.

What is deleted

  • Your profile, sign-in methods (password, passkeys, two-factor settings, connected accounts), sessions and API keys.
  • Your personal notes, notifications, notification settings, stars, watches, saved views and invitations you sent.
  • Billing details linked to your account.
  • Workspaces you own where you are the only member, with everything inside them.

What stays, and for how long

  • Content you created in a workspace other people use — comments, tasks, projects, milestones, documents and files — stays in that workspace, because it belongs to the organisation that owns it. It is detached from you and no longer shows your name.
  • Security and administrative logs — up to 365 days, where needed to protect the service and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims (GDPR Art. 17(3)(b) and (e)). The product activity log is kept for 90 days.
  • Backups — a rolling cycle of roughly 30 days. Data marked for deletion is excluded if a backup ever has to be restored.
  • Invoices — Stripe is the merchant of record and keeps your payment records under its own terms. Our own accounting records are kept for 10 years as Slovak accounting law requires and contain no customer-level personal data.
